Why is Akriel’s educational technology revolutionary and unique?
I. For pupils
Akriel helps you tackle all your insecurities about Maths, so studying turns into a true flow experience - all while you can score 90% or higher on tests! *
How can you achieve all this? Akriel will help you effectively with all three stages of your learning process:
1.You can understand how to solve different types of exercises
If you don’t understand the solution and would like to know more about a certain step, all you need to do is click on it and Akriel will reveal all the operations in that particular step
If you don’t understand an operation, you just have to click on it again: Akriel will then break it down into interim steps and operations
If you click once again, you will get to the basic mathematical concepts, which are demonstrated with colourful symbols (pictograms)
The essence of the explanation system is that YOU can decide whether you need more explanation or not. It doesn’t bore you with what you already know, but when you don’t understand something, it will give you multiple in-depth explanations.
As a result, you can get personalised answers to your questions, all while analysing and understanding new information at your own pace
C,It breaks down even the most complex questions into basic mathematical concepts
the CPA (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) method is a highly effective approach to teaching. The method has been created by the American psychologist Jerome Bruner, who worked in the field of cognitive psychology and became known for his theory of discovery learning
In Mathematics (which is based on logic), methods activating the left hemisphere of the brain - explanation through examples (Concrete) and formulas (Abstract) - had already been present
But Bruner completed these with explanations using pictorial symbols (Pictorial). Colours and forms activate the right hemisphere of the brain.
Thereby, we can activate both hemispheres by using the CPA method, which leads to a deeper and more stable understanding of the topic!
Akriel’s unique, pictographic demonstration technique is based on the CPA method:
The deepest level of the multi-level explanation system is always the level of pictograms
On this level, transformations are demonstrated with colours and forms (pictograms)
Akriel’s mathematical engine contains more than 200 hunder symbols
The solution of each algebraic question is built up from these symbols.
So Akriel implements the CPA method perfectly, and even combines it with an interactive, multi-level explanation system. Thereby, Akriel makes it possible to acquire a deep and stable understanding.
With the help of Akriel, pupils can understand the solutions of even the most complex questions, as they get more than the deduction and the list of operations: the mathematical algorithm breaks down each operation into sub-steps and sub-operations, until it gets to the level of basic mathematical concepts, which are so simple that they can be easily demonstrated with colourful symbols, so that anyone can understand them.
D,You can review an unlimited number of questions with explanations
You might need only one questions to get a solid grasp on the topic, but you might need 10
If you would like to look into more questions and their solutions, Akriel makes it possible for you
Because Akriel generates each question and its solution with an algorithm, it can give you an unlimited number of exercises in each topic
So if you felt like it, you could even complete hundreds of exercises of any type in any topic, you would never run out of new ones!
Moreover, you can dive deep into solutions on multiple levels by clicking on each step and operation
By analysing this many questions, you can get a solid understanding of each type of exercise, so that you quickly reach a level where you can solve exercises on your own, without further help from Akriel.
This is just the best in the world !!! Thank you very much to the developers! It explains everything perfectly. — Katalin Horváth (13 years old student)
I like that it actually describes the very basic things as well. I just did revision, and there were a lot of exercises where I pressed the last more info buttons (where the explanation seemed even more detailed than what we had learnt in class), and there I could find what I did wrong. — Bianka Nagy (13 years old student)
It’s also good in Akriel that it explains each step separately, and if I click on them to shed even more light on a particular step, it helps a lot. — Blanka Nóra Kolossváry (13 years old student)
There are many aspects that I find useful, but I would definitely like to highlight two of them: 1. You can master the solution path(s) with several detailed, pictorial "explanations". 2. II. For teachers
Akriel will help you finally breathe again, as it takes a huge burden off your shoulders - all while your pupils can score 1,5 times higher on tests. *
How can you achieve this? Akriel will help you effectively with all the three important stages of the teaching process:
Let’s see what technologies and innovations Akriel uses to achieve this:
A,It provides personalised education, thus making the process of understanding much more efficient
B,Thanks to constant feedback on pupil’s performance, it facilitates formative assessment, thus making the process of practising more efficient
C,It supports adaptive education, so each pupil can progress independently, at their own pace, which allows teachers to provide differentiated instruction
D,The process of assessing pupils’ knowledge becomes more efficient with the study group tests
When they have to solve exercises independently, pupils have the opportunity to ask for help, on several levels. Gradually more difficult exercises, immediate feedback. Unlimited opportunities to practice. The pupils can even start a quiz on their own to test their knowledge. I can also launch group quizzes with immediate evaluation. The whole interface is very professional. — Krisztina Sebestyénné Pető, teacher
It makes us practice with many "familiar" exercises. The solution and its deduction is available at any time. Mastering the solution of Maths problems is only a matter of diligence. A,On the group display, you can track each pupil’s progress within specific topics and exercises
B,You can track which pupil solved which exercises, whether they solved it correctly, and where they made a mistake
C,Within any exercise, you can see a real-time report of what steps the pupils have submitted so far and what they are working on, so you can help them remotely.
D,Thanks to real-time monitoring, you can control and coordinate your study groups online just as efficiently as you do in the classroom.

A real game-changer in online education
Distance learning causes difficulties in quite a few processes that would otherwise go easily in the classroom. Akriel handles this situation effectively as well!
It’s a huge help in the sudden transition to digital education. It saved lives! As a teacher, it soon became clear that I could not provide quality control, guidance, catching up, and talent development without the help of Akriel. — Brigitta Rausch, teacher
During this spring’s quarantine, she and her 68 pupils and 4 study groups gained a total of more than 2,600 goblets (!), meaning that the children had taken this many lessons.
Check out this 3 minute video to see how Akriel works
You can access 140+ algebraic and arithmetical topics on Akriel from KS2 to KS4.
In the future, we’re planning to cover all key stages of algebra and arithmetics with more than 300 detailed lessons.

If you have tried Akriel and are convinced of its effectiveness, join with an individual or group subscription! Akriel has a 3x3 step pricing, choose the most ideal one.
With an Akriel subscription, not only do the topics in your own year become available, but you also get full access to all the topics of all years. This way you can catch up on topics from previous years as well.
The first is when we see pupils’ eyes sparkle with the joy of understanding, the flow experience gained from a series of successfully solved questions, and the confidence they have regained. When we hear them joyfully exclaiming “Woooww I finally understand! I couldn’t get it for about 5 years!" or “Is it that easy? I always thought it was a lot more difficult!”. And when they realize that Maths is actually an easy thing to learn and love, and it’s exciting even!
And the other one is when we see pupils’ test results take a turn for the better, so they start getting better marks on a given topic than before Akriel.
With developing Akriel, our main objective was helping as many pupils as possible experience this feeling of success.
Akriel combines the most effective trends in Mathematics education (personalization, adaptation, formative assessment, CPA method, growth mindset, gamification). In addition, it has revolutionary software technologies on the Mathematics courseware market (algorithm solving algebraic problems, multi-level explanation system, pictogram illustration technology, unlimited questions generator, and exercise categories getting increasingly more difficult in each topic).
Thus, Akriel’s educational technology makes it unique in the market and it can provenly induce the above-mentioned “Akriel experience” in pupils, while significantly improving their performance on tests at both the individual and study group levels.
For all these reasons, we feel obliged to spread Akriel as widely as possible. Our vision is nothing less than bringing it to millions of pupils worldwide so that they too can partake in the “Akriel experience” and make their academic achievements soar!
