Akriel is an intelligent program to teach algebra that helps students learn and teachers teach more efficiently.

Let's see what Akriel is capable of and how it could help you!

First we recommend watching this teaser video about Akriel

(duration 2:50)

If you liked this introduction, watch the detailed info video to show you all of Akriel's features and how to use them.

(duration 21:46)

Use Akriel to understand and practice algebraic topics from any grade. In each topic you'll find **easy**, **intermediate**, and **hard** exercise categories.

Click a category to get an exercise. Solve it and enter the solution into Akriel. Click the green **check** button to get **instant feedback** whether your solution was correct or incorrect. If you enter the correct solution, Akriel rewards you with a star. If you make a mistake, it marks it with a red X. Find and fix the error and your solution will be accepted! Earn all the stars as you progress through the exercises, from easy to hard.

If you feel that you need to practice an exercise category a little more, ask for the next exercise, and you'll get one similar to the previous problem. Solve it correctly to earn another star. You can earn up to 3 stars for each exercise category, after that you earn a medal. Of course, you can practice as long as you want, since Akriel generates these exercises with an algorithm. The type stays the same, but the figures, variables, and signs do change. This way you can practice each type **without limitations**. Akriel **never** runs out of exercises.

But what if you can't solve an exercise? Don't hesitate to click the purple **see the solution** button to get instant help. Akriel shows you all the steps to get to the final, correct solution.

And that's not all. If you don't understand the solution, and you'd like to know what's happening exactly in a certain step, click on that step for a more detailed explanation. Akriel will show you a pictograph of the specific operation - creating a connection between theory and practice! The colors of the algebraic expressions are synced to the colors of the pictogram so you can easily match the symbols and the related parts of the expression. This way you get to understand why this is the way to do this transformation.

One of the best features of Akriel is that it not only shows you the steps of the solution, but by using multi-level explanations, it is capable of breaking down the operations to interim steps and operations, **until it gets to a level of basic transformations** that may be explained using pictograms.

The mathematical engine of Akriel contains over 200 pictograms that explain the theoretical foundations of algebra. Think of them like colourful **LEGO** bricks - any algebraic exercise can be built from those few hundred types of building blocks. **It's easy to understand one LEGO brick,** since the essence of the transformations is expressed with coloured shapes. Once you understand individual pieces of the solution, you will be able to understand the **entire solution!**

If you feel that seeing the solution of just one exercise is simply not enough for a full understanding and you'd like to see a few more examples, we've got you covered. Since we generate the exercises with an algorithm, and we also generate the solution of the generated exercises using an algorithm, we have an **infinite number of examples for each category.** You'll see that the logic for the solutions stays the same, but the numbers and the variables are different.

You can study hundreds of examples of similar equations if you like; Akriel never runs out of them! This also applies to all of the algebraic fraction exercises topics... and to all exercise categories of all topics of Akriel! You can see any number of derivations, and you can break down any step of these to any level. **You won't be left without an explanation!** After analysing so many derivations, you'll have an understanding so deep that you can solve the next exercises by yourself!

If you feel that now you do understand it, get a new exercise. Solve this to get your well deserved star! Don’t worry if you can’t solve that one either. Just click the button to see the solution. You can keep getting new exercises until you can solve them on your own. Akriel never runs out of exercises because it generates them using an algorithm.

Understanding is crucial, but you also have to practice this exercise category to get long lasting knowledge. We recommend that you get a new exercise and earn all 3 stars. After that you may proceed to the next exercise category to earn more stars, and from there on to the next one, and then so on.

Akriel combines instant help with instant feedback to accelerate the learning process. Understanding and practicing the categories will be quicker and more efficient.

If you complete an exercise category, the next one will always be a little harder. But if you solve them in a consecutive order, you’ll be guided from the easiest to the hardest exercises in small increments so that you’ll feel secure every step of the way. Earn all the available stars and Akriel rewards you with a **grand cup!** After this, complete the other topics and earn all the cups!

Akriel is not just an educational program; it’s also an online mathematical game to make a monotonous, repetitive task enjoyable. The reward system gives you **positive feedback** as you proceed through the topics! Akriel is fun to complete alone, but it’s not the only way. The whole class can play, even during class, with your teacher guiding you. Let’s see how!

Akriel can be used in the computer room of your school or on laptop computers, but you can also use it on smartphones or tablets. Your teacher can create an online study group for you to join, and you’re all set to start the chosen topic. As you earn stars, the green bar next to your name gets longer and longer. A summary chart makes it easy to track everyone’s progress in the topic. Your performance during class becomes visible and measurable in real time because the program ranks you based on your performance. The progress chart is highly motivating. For best results, use a projector! If you understand the topic, you’ll proceed quickly, and you can even compete with each other! Akriel can make the dull part of algebraic classes playful and more enjoyable.

Teachers can control and coordinate the progress of the **whole** class, **simultaneously**, by helping those who need it and rewarding the best, let’s say with an A! The class proceeds through the curriculum more quickly and more effectively in a study group.

If you can’t finish the topic before the end of class, you can solve the rest as homework. And since there is no time limit when you’re at home, you can get the cup too! The teacher will see the progress and there’s no need to spend time checking the homework during class.

The topics of algebra form a pyramid of knowledge: to understand higher math, you have to understand and practice fundamental math topics first. Many students struggle with new concepts because they have lost track of fundamental topics taught years earlier and thus have nothing to build upon.

Akriel is a great tool for remedial programs since it contains the curriculum from previous grades! By practicing and repeating these exercises, students can understand operations that they’ve been struggling with for years. Teachers can motivate students with extra A’s to earn even more cups. The students can practice, earn the cups, and they can see in a separate **cup summary** page who earned how many cups. Even the less motivated, previously left behind students may catch up and fully participate in the class.

Let’s see how much Akriel costs. Individual subscriptions cost **79.99 $** for a year. Groups above 10 users are eligible for a group subscription discount. If parents decide to get a group subscription, the price drops by 50%, to **39.99 $** per user per year. You may use Akriel for a whole year, 365 days, for the price of a single private math lesson. And you don’t just get the curriculum of your grade, but you get full access to **all topics** of **all grades**. This way you can catch up on topics from earlier years or work ahead.

Schools wishing to subscribe all algebra students can contact us at for schoolwide subscriptions with a further 50% off - that’s **19.99 $** per student per year. The school’s subscription applies to all students for the duration of the contract; therefore at the beginning of a new school year incoming students will still have access to the program.
